Oddmood
Company Information and Availability
Oddmood was founded by two ex-NextLimit production team leaders. After providing major film companies such as CafeFx, the Moving Picture Company, Disney and RFX among others with support and training, and improving RealFlow while testing it in production for the television market, they decided to create a VFX studio in Spain while maintaining a strong relationship with Next Limit Technologies.
Oddmood is committed to offering visual effects services, specializing in Hydro-Fluid dynamics for the film and television market, and technical services for production companies. The company has a small group of in-house specialists, with the option to increase the staff rapidly according to the needs of each project.
Oddmood provides a full array of services, ranging from advanced VFX (such as Hydro-Fluid Effects) to 3D graphics, animation and post-production for the broadcast market and feature films.
CGI & Visual Effects:
High quality CGI in either photorealistic or classic cartoon directions. We create set-extensions, complete 3d-environments, simulations, character animation and rendering.
FX Advisory & Production Support:
Oddmood works in close collaboration with 2D and 3D teams helping with scene set-up, building different FX approaches or writing tools for specific requirements. This includes scripting customised functions or software capabilities expansion.
Compositing:
Adding claims to a shot, blue screen composites, augmenting a set of an existing location to match 3d imagery seamlessly with live action footage.
Pre-visualization:
Professional storyboards and detailed animatics for both CGI and live-action projects.
